Marina Rogatova continues to follow the traditional techniques of miniature painting, which require delicacy, precision, and exceptional accuracy. Yet, like any true artist, she strives to convey not just technical skill, but her personal vision of the world in each of her works.
Her artworks are housed in the collection of the Fedoskino Miniature Factory Museum (Fedoskino), the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Art (Moscow), as well as in private collections in Russia, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
As a participant in major art exhibitions such as the exhibition dedicated to the 800th anniversary of The Tale of Igor’s Campaign (1986), Folk Art exhibitions (1987, 1989), In Thy Name (2000), among others, Rogatova has made a significant contribution to the development and popularization of Fedoskino lacquer miniature art. Her work is a tribute to tradition and, at the same time, a deeply personal poetic view of the world, expressed with elegance and love for her native culture.
